Dr. Robert Cynowa Jr., D.C., C.C.W.P., C.C.E.P., Clinical Director

Robert A. Cynowa Jr., D.C., C.C.W.P., C.C.E.P. grew up in a small lake community located in Metamora, Michigan, where he pursued a competitive passion in wakeboarding and snowboarding.

Dr. Cynowa attended Michigan State University to complete his undergraduate work in Health Studies.  He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, located in Davenport, IA.  After completing his preceptorship at an elite clinic located in Twinsburg, OH, Dr. Cynowa followed his dreams to live in North Carolina by moving to Charlotte. He currently resides in Tega Cay with his beautiful wife Megan, and daughter Jade.

Dr. Cynowa is certified in the latest technique in chiropractic care which is called Torque Release Technique, as well as nine other techniques that he uses commonly with patients.  He is certified in Webster’s Technique, which is a specific and safe technique designed to restore proper pelvic balance and function for pregnant patients.  He is a C.C.E.P. (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner,) which means he is certified to adjust extremities, such as jaws, shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, etc.  Dr. Cynowa is also a C.C.W.P (Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner) setting the gold standard of lifestyle requirements in North and South Carolina.

Dr. Cynowa’s life purpose is “to communicate with the intelligence, mystery, and beauty in every living being in order to better help others fulfill their life purpose.”  He lives this purpose every day as he educates, adjusts, and inspires true health potential in his patients.  Families report that while under his care, they feel like they have gained an additional family member, looking out for their best health potential.  

Dr. Cynowa created Fam Jam, a festival inspiring greater health and wellness in the community benefiting - to date -  over $20,000 to the Children’s Attention Home.  In addition to the Children’s Attention Home, Dr. Cynowa supports the following other organizations: American Heart Association, Second Harvest Food Bank of the Carolinas, Fort Mill Care Center, Levine Children’s Hospital, Heart2Heart Foundation, and The Foundation for Fort Mill Schools. He also serves his community by providing complimentary corporate Lunch and Learns, screenings at community events, and by supporting organizations that fall in line with his vision and mission.

Dr. Cynowa believes strongly in being a role model of health and is continually improving his own well being by being physically active, nutritionally healthy, and mentally strong.  When not serving in the community or spending time with his patients and beautiful family, Dr. Cynowa enjoys 2 on 2 volleyball, golf, wakesurfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, and yoga.
